Overall good experience

Mostly went smoothly. Only had to get past minor issues. Talked with Turbotax support personnel twice. Resolved my issues. Note that they are not tax experts, only Turbotax experts. Most of the help was searchng for and finding the answers to questions.

Almost Awesome

As always, fairly easy to use. However, this year I used a disc copy of Turbo Tax and last I used a download version, so initially TT could not find last year's taxes on my computer. The two need to "talk" to each other more easily.

Appears to be a clear case of programming error

Specific items on my New Jersey Return, lines 39b and 39c(non-financial property tax information) were initially unusable because whether there was or was not a numeral or numerals provided by me on the line, the program generated an error message saying that the result was incorrect. At this state neither Turbo Tax or the State of New Jersey were about to respond about enquiries as to how to solve the problem. Eventually a down load from Turbo Tax appeared to have resolved the problem, but then the return was not acceptable when electronically submitted. Apparently customer input coding was revised by the download, but program output to the State was not accordingly adjusted. Most egregious, however, despite the rejection by the state of the electronic download, the program did not identify an error and repeatedly advised that the return be resubmitted electronically. As far as I'm concerned Turbo Tax owes me the cost of the ineffective state submission.

Very difficult to use!!!!

Took two days to figure out how to enter my state estimated taxes allready paid. Very confusing.
It wanted to estimate my federal tax. I don't estimated federal tax. Took another day to figure out how to stop that. Very confusing.
I could have done my taxes faster using paper instead of Turbotax.
