Forms not ready in timely manner, filled with bugs

I've used turbo tax to file my taxes for 18 years but this year it fell flat on it's face. I completed my taxes early but had to wait a month to file because the forms were not ready. When they became ready, the updates caused a bunch of errors in my forms which led the software to ask me fill out the tax forms myself. Looking at forums I found other people had similar issues. After giving up trying to manually fix my forms, I found out on my own that running through all the questions at the beginning again fixes the errors. I was also disappointed that the online version allows you to import CSV files for stock or crypto sales, but the desktop version did not. This meant entering them in manually, line-by-line, with every line entry broken up into multiple screens to make it completely un-intuitive and cumbersome. After completion there was no table to easily verify my entries were correct (had to wait for it to spit out the tax form at the end to see it all in one place). Through this experience there was a bunch of troubleshooting which made the endeavor not worthwhile in my opinion. I really hope they update the desktop software and don't do this again. Releasing half-baked tax software that isn't capable of filing all forms until three-quarters through tax season is not acceptable.

The folks at Intuit do it again!
Turbo Tax 2021 is still as easy to use, and accurate as the first time I used it!
20+ year User, and still counting!

there is a glitch in the efile box. when I enter my number, it adds a comma and a period. I cannot delete those items and my return has been rejected because of that ---now I am forced to mail my return after paying to have my State tax electronically sent---I would expect to have that expense credited to my credit card
