Had a Few Problems this Year

Tried to e-file but the identification based on 2020 AGI was a problem and the IRS rejected the returns. I double checked my numbers and they were correct - but last year the IRS said they had not received the returns I mailed. The return were actually received because they had the check I sent with them. I think that delay caused them to not yet have the AGI for comparison. I ended up mailing paper returns instead. The instructions for what to do from Turbo Tax were difficult to follow and I was unable to call and talk with anybody.

Turbo tax is not awesome

Have and account but forgot my password. When I tried to change the password the system kept sending me in a loop. After the 3rd time through I gave up on changing and just completed as a Guest.

Overall very good but...

I didn't have any problem using TurboTax until the very end to e-file. Just before the e-file it went to a final review then flagged one of my 1099-R forms stating there was a problem between box 14 State tax withheld and box 16 State distribution. The problem was the withheld amount couldn't be larger or equal to the distribution amount. The distribution box was empty. Now why on earth did it wait until ready to e-file to find this issue? I was totally baffled on what to do at this point. I had entered the information exactly as it was on the 1099-R when entering my income. I took a guess and entered the same amount in box 16 as was in box 1 Gross distribution. That made TurboTax happy and it e-filed. Major confusion.

slow - very slow

Opening the software is extremely slow. if you close it and reopen it within 1 minute, it starts the process all over again. Also, e-file keeps producing an error. Even making correction doesn't solve problem. Calculating taxes seems to work ok. Just slow and a glitch in the e-filing.
