Preparation of taxes have always been easy, just follow the steps. Even will there are new types of income, it was easy to follow the instructions.

when using download TT. some areas won't allow you to input info especially when typing/ putting in numbers, and e-filing

Easy as Ever!

As always, easy, dependable, and knowledgeable software. I really like the prompts to check areas that I wouldn't think of. The only thing I didn't like is when you try to pay for your state return they automatically sign you up for Audit Defense. That is not cool.

Good Program, Easy to Use

(I'd really like to give it 4.5 stars.) I've used Turbotax for many years now. I find that it's an easy program to use, whether or not I get a refund (rare) or if I need to pay (most common). Most often, I end up using the Standard Deduction, and I wonder if I'm not overpaying for something I rarely make use of. However, the ease in using Turbotax. Then entire process usually goes quite smoothly. My only real issues come from some of the pre-filing checks. I'm usually told I failed to mark a box and then, when I see the box, it's asking me if I lived half the year in Puerto Rico, even tho' I've already said that I lived in my current state for the entire year. But other than those minor gripes, I enjoy using the program and the results are pretty good.

I don't get it, I buy the deluxe version each year which is supposed to include the state version and EVERY year I get charged $25 for the state. What the heck? Decent product... would be nice to be able to copy and paste info into it.
