Turbo Tax Delux is GREAT!!! As usual.

Only had one problem and it was probably due to new laws. I have never had to ID my
Retirement Pension Plan as a RMD distribution but this year I had to. When I first called my Pension Plan people they had no idea what I was talking about; after all it was a monthly distribution over many years, not an IRA. They finally told me to click on Yes, it is a RMD. Hope that was the right answer!

Error in 1099-MISC entry for 2 years

Will not use next year. Turbo Tax presistent in making two wrong entries. Difficult to make corrections. Classified 1099-MISC as self employed for one instance.

problem with alabama return

The state return does not allow us to check it. For the Alabama return the program failed to pick up
pick up that box16 was 0 to indicate that the taxable amount for Alabama was 0. Had to call and get help and finally did an over ride.

Bug on input pin code screen.

Spent 3 hours on trying to input pin and continue, with lots of effort and help of turbotax tech assist.
Once pass this issue there is no problem.

Turbo tax is sometimes confusing when new forms like 1099 NEC are entered. I tried entering residual commissions that are under IRS code 1402 (k) but it kept putting me in as self employed and wanting a Schedule C. Not much help in Help on IRS code 1402 (k) and FAQ's that did not work. Found the fix myself by trial entries.
