It's a great system but it applied forms that did not apply and I had a difficult time figuring out how to delete them.

I have been using Turbo Tax and it helped me a lot in preparing for Federal and State taxes for me and my husband. It guides me step by step. I love it! It also tells me if something went wrong and needed to be corrected or the filing have been rejected and refile.

Found a glitch

There is an issue in the deduction section under mortgage interest paid. If you include interest paid on a loan but then paid it off before the end of the year, the program locks up and provides a warning that you must enter a value for outstanding mortgage balance. The only way I could proceed was to use $1 as a balance. This was frustrating and led me to believe that I had entered something wrong. I hadn't but the message will shut down forward progress until a value is included....pffft
