Makes tax filing easy!

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It makes my filing process easy. There are great directions and everything is easy to follow. Turbo Tax saves me time and money.

Download still works best

I tried to use Web version Basic, but because I have an HSE, it wanted to upgrade me to Deluxe at cost of $119. I abandoned that half completed preparation-- waste of time! I went back to the download version, and it worked well, for cost of $50 +$25 for state efile. Much better.

Dependent claim

We have a problem with a dependent claiming herself with out stating someone else could claim her for more than half of the year. Because she filed 1st, we can't send our return to the IRS on line. If we dispute it, we have to mail the return in and wait up to a year to get it resolved. There must be a better way through Turbo Tax to handle this situation.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years, and it does good for me. The only complaint is that it doesn't run on Linux

TurboTax is frustrating

I would assume that for the average person Turbotax it great, for me with retirement income form a foreign country it is very frustrating. Last 2 years have been problematic. This year with late delivery of Form 1116/1116B my filing has been delayed by 1 month.
