Turbotax Deluxe has been my yearly method to prepare, audit and submit our Federal and Pennsylvania Tax Returns! Even though we are both retired since 2019, the program is choosing me to complete an Employer Expense forrn. It was necessary for me to Exclude the form from the submission documents before I could submit my 2 e-files. Hopefully, Intuit will review the software and delete this employee Expense form for true Retirees. Thank you for developing and maintaining a reliable and quality product!

Problems with Displaying and Calculating Deduction

I entered my charitable contributions but for some reason the $300 was not applied to my standard deduction. In addition, there were a number of times when values were not displayed on the last year and this year summary page including vehicle taxes paid for this year and the $300 charitable amount from last year. It took over an hour to resolve on the phone. Thankfully, there was a knowledgeable support person to help ensure TurboTax eventually calculated the correct Standard Deduction amount -- only after having to delete all charitable contributions and re-enter the charities and the donations --or it would have been $300 short! Excellent job by support, but I never should have had to call them. Make sure your charitable contributions up to $300 are included in your standard deduction!

Product seems to have been tested more before release. I experienced less errors than last year. The help sections and explanations were very clear and helpful.

The software should have asked for 6-digit pin from the IRS and not the made up one, for e-file. This would have been beneficial for e-file and having to dig up the forms that require it. Also make the forms easier to access...
