Turbo Tax was really easy to use. The difficult part was when it said something was missing from my 1099 R tax forms. I had sever of these forms but they never told me which payer form I was using. Very confusing. Was it for my 401K or OPM or other. I didn't know what to enter.

Problems with comprehnding instructions

I spent a great deal of time try ing to get information and instructions on foreign tax credit.
Your instructions were not clear.
And information on the Recovery Rebate Credit absolutely bad.

Great except for California

Worked great for the federal return. For the California return, it wasn't as helpful, especially with the interest paid adjustment. Plus I could not file California electronically, even though I did for the federal return. It said there was an update needed but when I downloaded updates, it still didn't work. This was AFTER I gave credit card info for the $25 charge to file California electronically. I saw no way to cancel the $25 charge. That is pretty bad, considering you have been updating your software for years.
