Efficient, Helpful, Understandable

As in previous years, carryover info from previous TurboTax helped. Capital Gain from sale of primary residence went smoothly. Thanks!

Everything was great until I tried to e-file.

The TurboTax program itself makes filing easy. That's why I have used it for years. The online support, however, was confusing and baffling when trying to help me e-file for the first time. The first problem was when I got the message that my tax return had been rejected because I had incorrect information and should refer to my 2020 return, When I tried to access it, I got the erroneous message that I had not used TurboTax in 2020. Already fatigued from the paperwork involved in completing my return, I was further frustrated by the message which I knew to be incorrect. When I followed prompts to check for other accounts, things just got more frustrating as it showed 2 usernames with neither account giving me access to my 2020 return and claiming that I had not used TurboTax in 2020.

Importing from Fidelity was incomplete

I had 3 1099-R forms which I had to enter manually. Why weren't they part of the import?
