Turbotax struggles but gets job done

Have used Turbotax for decades. This year operated through February 2022 on older laptop where previous files were located. Then in March was challenged to download Turbotax Deluxe on newer laptop. Many hours of download attempts. Then decided to enter from scratch financial date. Outcome provided was different $18 lower for federal, $13 lower for state. But I have already submitted the returns.

Turbo Tax is getting worse each year

I have been using this program for years and the last two years have been the worse. I spent hours trying to correct my Federal return (1040SR) as they put a 1099-MISC on a Schedule C as a business....$23. My state return lacked key forms last year and this year it is so badly messed up, I have to do it by hand. It has been frustrating to say the least and I will look into other tax programs for the future.

I do my taxes and i help family members, wow, everyone is just so very happy.
Plus, Turbo Tax is very helpful, and you find every dollar there is to get back.

Pretty good but there are problems

My retirement income is reported on a K1. You compute SS taxes on the amount even though retirement income is not due. It is nearly impossible to correct this.
Also, the state submission fees are very difficult to handle, too much input is required.
