Each year TT seems to be more challenging

I have used TT for many years. What used to be a rather simple straight forward process, does not seem as seamless anymore. I had quite a lot of difficulty just uploading the software and then importing my information from last year. I'm using the same computer, same process but had to go through several options for problem solving and upload differently this year. Also there was a problem with not being able to enter a charitable deduction that TT is aware of but hasn't fixed despite my running the updates each time I logged on. I also either missed or it doesn't exist to simply print state returns if you decide to not file electronically. E-file federal returns worked great but I don't like having to pay the extra money to e-file state returns(which also seems rediculous). Going through the steps, I never saw an option to just print my state return for mailing.

TurboTax is a lifesaver!

It's so nice to be able to file my taxes without having to go to a tax preparer who charges a large fee. The cost of TurboTax, as well as the way they guide me step by step through preparation of our tax return has been a lifesaver for my family and we have used them for the past several years.

E-filing is made clear, mailing is not
