Never dread Tax Time again

I've used Turbo Tax for 12 years now and wouldn't think of switching to a different company. Technology hasn't always been my forte and Turbo Tax is the most user friendly and intuitive product on the market.

I've read about how much money intuit spends to keep legislators from passing legislation to simplify tax filing. The government already has all of my tax information and could do as other countries and easily send me a form with the information they have and if I am in agreement with it, I can sign and be done.

Problems

My 2019 return was a problem because Turbo Tax did not add in my social security benefits, even though entered the amount. I didn't notice it and low and behold I had to pay a penalty for underpaying my tax. The 2021 return said there was an error by not entering a child tax credit. That is an error in the software as I didn't enter anything into those boxes.

Once again, this year I had trouble with the software doing what it was supposed to do. I had to go to the forms instead of having the software walk me through everything like I wanted.
