Tax preparation was good, but paying for the $25 state electronic fee via credit card was impossible. Finally gave up and deducted from my refund which TurboTax charged me $40 to do. What a coincidence.

TurboTax is the standard, has minor annoyances

Turbotax does its job and is efficient and very complete. Makes taxes easy to work through, you know you have to do this each year. Having said that, I have some suggestions for Intuits design team for TurboTax (all versions)
1) Please Please Please provide a control to adjust the font sizes on your product - not all of us are 32 years old and I now have to resort to operating system tricks to force some of your screens to zoom in (resulting in a font large enough I can be sure I am reading the important text accurately) - this is a major issue!
2) If a user is filing the following combination - Fed return, State 1 return, State 2 return - why do you make us re-enter our banking account info (acct number, routing number) separately for each return - you have it and if its the same, why do we have to reenter for each state? C'mon. At last give us the option to "re-use default acct"

Turbo Tax is very user-friendly and simple to use!

I've been using Turbo Tax for a few years and have always been amazed at the ease of using the program. I've had to contact support and the persons with whom I spoke were very friendly and helpful.

Pretty good, but some improvements

I think there are some great things about this software, but the Montana state return lacks the user friendliness and intuitive nature of the federal filing. I found the state return much more confusing than the federal.

Not straight forward on State file costs

Did pretty good. My beef is when time to file, they say it costs $20 to file state forms, but when you input the payment data, it suddenly costs $25. Turbo Tax needs to be straight forward when they give the costs before they have you input your credit card data.
