Easy to Use, Best Tax Software EVER!

TurboTax has been my go-to for years. I have tried other Tax prep software, but nothing has been as easy and user-friendly as TurboTax.

Tax time can become confusing.
TurboTax takes that anxiety away! The easy, step-by-step features allow you to complete your tax returns with minimal effort. It is so helpful to know whether you qualify for additional tax credits.. including things you were not aware were eligible. We are so grateful for TurboTax and will use it every year to prepare our tax returns!!

Turbo Tax has been a game changer!

I have always done my own taxes but over the years, taxes have become more complicated. Turbo Tax walks you through every step and with the help of my Quicken Program, the answers are easy to find and enter accurately. Love it!

Still my choice for filing taxes

Overall good. During the review it kept directing me to fill out forms that I obviously didn't need (ie. child support). I don't have children! Otherwise it was straightforward and reasonably easy

A Bug.

I'm filing a joint return with my spouse using form 1040SR. I had over $600 in money charitable contributions. However TurboTax Deluxe filled in $300 on line 12b. Since it's a joint return it should have been $600.

Good not perfect

Have a simple 1040 filing jointly taking standard deduction but since my charitable itemized deductions are over $600, am entitled to a charitable deduction of $600 plus the standard deduction. The software automatically put $300 as a charitable deduction and then during review this entry kept showing as a wrong amount. The software should have put correct amount. After researching this item, i overrode entry and changed to $600 and got an increase in refund. I almost putzero to get past this error mistake in software and would have lost over $100 in refund. turbotax should not have this simple software problem.

Misleading Deluxe Package

I purchased the deluxe edition because I though that I could e-file the state return as well as the federal edition. The deluxe edition DOES NOT include a state e-file. If you are 1 person, just use the file online and buy the state e-file for 49.95. I ended up paying 20 dollars for E-file for the state. My total costs was $71.45 with tax.
