TURBOTAX must make it easy to the benefit of user.

Where it asks in the STATE section whether the retirement pensions (e.g. RSA from Alabama) and/or the IRA (e.g. TIAA CREF), TURBOTAX leads you to accepting the status-quo (default) such that it is STATE-taxable, as a result of which you get $1000s of red flag you owe; BOOM! Whereas it should be vice-versa such that if those items are STATE-taxable (most often they are NOT), then we users can enter "STATE-taxable." TURBOTAX must CHANGE this feature immediately not to cause migraine headaches of why and how come and what, as it did to me within the last 24 hours. Although you ask the necessary question afterwards, it ought to be other way around. Thanks for your sensitivity on this issue. I am sure I am not the only retiree who fell in this innocent trap. PS: I have been your customer since 2000(?) and never faced an issue of this sort before to my recollection!

Turbo tax was so easy

I was worried because I had to pay this year the state. It was easy to set up the withdrawal from our bank account

Turbo Tax makes tax filing simple and easy to file

I have used Turbo Tax for many years for both federal and state filings.
The ability to carry forward and compare data from one year to the next makes tax filing easy and clear to understand. I feel comfortable when I file my refunds will be coming quickly and there will be no issues with the return. Never have had an issue.

Still great but more complicated this year

I have used Tax for many years and this year it was more complicated than ever before even though my taxes were mush simpiiar/. Too many re-entries were required. Not sure of the reasoning behind the change in the workflow from previous years. Also, to many oaks for Audit Protection. Once I choose "no", that should be it.
