I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and never have had any issues till this year. My Federal and State income taxes were rejected because it said our AGI did not match what the IRS had on file. After numerous attempts I gave up and paper filed Federal and State which I paid the extra $20 and could not use state e-file. I would expect a refund on the $20 dollars. If you cannot resolve this matter with the IRS than I am not sure I will continue to use Turbo Tax next year.

TurboTax is Great

TurboTax is easy to follow and has great explanations throughout. I have been using TurboTax for about 6 years now and I cannot say that I have one single complaint. I feel empowered to do my own taxes every year and have the comfortability in knowing that it's correct and TurboTax has my back.

Turbo Tax - 2021 Tax Year filing

Very easy and intuitive to use. I've used Turbo Tax for a number of years now and find continuous improvements. I do have one suggestion:
- With some states (Alabama as an example), the states do not tax certain retirement plans. When those retirement amounts are entered into the worksheets, have them automatically move to the "no-taxable" section of the State Tax form. I realize this may take some programming, due to each states uniqueness regarding those retirement plans, yet it would help the tax payer accuracy with the state return.

Have used turbotax for over two decades. Always very intuitive. However, this year we had a couple of hang ups related to late payment interest calculations. The software wanted to bring forward prior year unused charitable donations for my state return which would be very appropriate, however, my prior year charitable donations were already used. I knew I should not use them, and talked it through with an on line adviser who affirmed my suspicions. The adviser reported that this issue would be corrected with updates that occur on almost a daily basis.
