Turbox Tax let me down this year

Turbo Tax charged me twice to file my State Tax. Tried to find a number to reach out to them for help. That was impossible. I have been a customer for 25 years. very Disappointed.

Child Credit Form

Was a disaster trying to file this year. Kept saying that I had to put in how much we received in child credit. We are in our 70's and haven't had a child home for 40 years. So impossible to finally file. Even though, ask question can you be a dependent, do you have dependents? Said NO

TurboTax is great!

Turbotax is easy to use and I love that it guides you through step-by-step and you don't have to be a tax professional to use it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is that there were a couple of areas that weren't explained well. The 'advance child tax credit' field and letter 6419. I was doing my friends taxes who has never had children but Turbotax kept telling me I had made a mistake by leaving that amount blank. If I enter 0 dependents, it should know that I didn't recieve an advance child tax credit or letter. Turbox didn't ask me anything about it but it came up as a mistake. I had to use the help to find out that I needed to enter 0 in that box before I could continue. Confusing.
