I have used TurboTax forever

Too easy to use, I've converted many friends to use it vs a tax preparer. You don't need to be an accountant to use it because it's just that simple to use.

Cost Effective

I would give Turbo Tax an excellent rating except for some of the rather annoying questions during initial set-up. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years so it remembers everything, including that I had children. They are now married and living their own independent lives. There should be one simple question: are you supporting them financially? No need to verify social security numbers, birth dates, can anyone else claim them, ad nauseam.

Turbo Tax contains a serious bug!

I spent far too long trying to e-file due to your stupidity in the program. No children to claim a child tax credit. Sched 8812 error kept popping up. The program should already know based on my personal info that I would not need to fill out this form. I will look at other software in the future. Should not be that difficult !!!!

The way to charge state tax e-file is sneaky

I though I purchased both federal and state tax return but realized state e-file ask additional charge. I found "state e-filing is separate" on the description. However, the description is almost hiding on the corner of description. Give a clear information and let them make the purchase decision fairly.

SCHEDULE 8812 KEEP APPEARING IN MY RETURN. NO REASON - NO KIDS. TOOK DAYS TO REMOVE THE SCHEDULE. HAD TO REDO A NEW RETURN 3 TIMES. NEVER HAD PROBLEMS IN 15 YEARS OF USING TURBO TAX.

Excellent Tax Software

I have been using Turbo Tax software since 2010. I never had a problem.
It gets me my maximum tax refund every year. I love this product and
I highly recommend it to my friends and family. Try it out, I'm sure you will agree.
