First time using Turbo Tax compared to hand filing

Overall, very useful and simple interface. MUCH easier than doing by hand and printing up forms off of IRS.GOV as you need them.
Biggest area for improvement: Backdoor Roth IRA conversions. The Help file for understanding how to do these do not match the interface and there is just not a good description in the software either. It is especially difficult if one did not do a "planned conversion" meaning the distributions and conversion in the same year as opposed to doing two distributions in the same calendar year and applying the first one to the prior tax year. I had to look up on Google other people's explanations and screen shots for how to do the Backdoor Roth Conversions.

Well worth the $$

The interview process works great for us. I've used TurboTax for many years and could probably do fine without running the interview part but I feel more confident that our return is complete when I go through the interview. It was also nice to be able to download the software instead of purchasing at a retail store.

Second year with a saving the file problem!

For some reason when you tell me to save and use a password to access the file it locks me out. Then I have to go through a whole bunch of crap to clean it up and gain access again. Very annoying. Otherwise I like using Turbo Tax.
