Turbo Tax is amazing!

I love TurboTax. It is easy to understand, walks you through each step, allows you to go back and review entries as many times as needed before filing. Before filing you can even preview the entire form, print or save as PDF. I HIGHLY recommend TurboTax to everyone, especially if you are new to filing your own taxes.

Deleting partially started 1099-R

I could not import a bank 1099-R, and started a self generated 1099-R. I think I may have clicked twice on self generation. Then I found the 1099-R and used it appropriately to fill out a 1099-R form. At the end of my federal and state preps (I wish to emphasize "at the end"), the final check showed a form that turbotax wanted filled out without telling me WHAT or WHY . I tried to find the minimally started self created 1099-R and could not for hours. Finally, I found it (by starting all over essentially) and found a link for deleting the "untitled" self created 1099-R. The WHAT AND WHY and the link to deletion of the unfinished 1099-R form needs to be presented when completion is requested! And, even better, the uncompleted form should have been highlighted at the end of my income summary review.

TurboTax is a user friendly program

I have been using a competitive computer program and it was tedious. I thought I would try TurboTax and found that it is so easy to use and it checks EVERYTHING! Awesome program.
