Almost impossible NOT to spend $20 to E-File.

Online help Good but not perfect.
Had IRS issues because of an error in the Turbo Tax software last year.
Almost impossible to not spend $20 to E-File state taxes.
Looking elsewhere next year.

Love Turbo Tax

We have been using it for several years and find it easy to use. We would not consider using any other product. The ability to transfer much info from the previous year's file is very helpful and is a great timesaver.
The only problem we have ever had occurred this year when we tried to file electronically for the first time. Our returns were rejected for incorrect previous year AGI, and after speaking with your Tax expert, we determined that it was due to the fact that the IRS has not processed last year's return and therefore was unable to verify our previous year's AGI (certainly not an error made by Turbo Tax).
When I spoke with your Tax expert, Jacqueline, she was extremely knowledgeable, as well as pleasant. She answered several questions for me. Great Customer Service!!!

Process to Amend 2021 return is not well organized

We received an amended SSA-1099 and two unanticipated 1099-Int forms for interest on a life insurance payout. Process to file 1040X was delayed and then had contradictory information regarding whether we would have to mail a printed copy to Federal IRS. I believe that we have it figured out, but it was not a smooth process
