TurboTax, Always easy, mostly quick.

Getting easier and easier. Now that deductions have run out, and I'm just using the standard deduction. There needs to be a way to skip many of the itemizing deductions like mortgage interest when it's not going to make a difference anyway.

I have been using this software for 30 years and every year there is another twist.
I am trying to e-file and showing me that I need to pay 60 dollars. I get 5 federal e-file and one state. Can't get past the charges to e-file

Turbo Tax and 1099-NEC

It turns out one can input the 1099-NEC in 0ne of Two places. The phone conversation was able to clear this up and I got my taxes filed

Turbo Tax lets me choose how I enter my information, by interview, by choosing specific tax areas to work on, or by filling in specific forms. It lets me shift from on method to another.

Soooo Easy

Turbo Tax makes it easy by asking questions I wouldn't have even thought to ask, and has information links that enable me to understand what each section means. I don't like that it's a $40 fee to have the Audit Defense come out of your refund, but you can negate that by putting it on a credit card.

I have used Turbo Tax now for over ten years. I am generally very pleased with the product as I am with the 2021 version. It certainly makes the process easier and more friendly! I will use it again next year.
