Turbo Tax CD is my go to. It is easy and the live agents were very helpful. Any concerns I had were confirmed with the agent who was very knowledgeable.

Systematic problem saving tax return

This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had with TurboTax. Everytime I go to save the return I have neen working on a get this message "File Cannot be saved" Its either "locked" or I don't have permission to unlock it. I go through all of the steps to check info which says I have permission and I unlock the "lock" icon and it is still no use. Turbo Tax says I can duplicate the file. I have so many duplicated files that it is ridiciulous. Other users have had the same frustrating experience with no solution to the problem offer by TurboTax except "check info on file.

Turbo Tax Failed

I have inserted bank routing/account information for direct deposit no fewer than 12 times and it will not save the information to transmit SC State form. I can't even get to the page to pay for the state transmittal. Turbo Tax Failed!

A few technical glitches this year

Used turbotax for the last 10 years with no problems, this year it duplicated my W2 and erroneously claimed I was using a business deduction that wouldn't allow me to efile...was resolved but took a few extra days. My confidence in Turbotax has been tested this year...

Easy download of the 2021 program and format remains consistent. I like the carry over features to pre fill much of the mundane input material. Some new formats this year were a nice improvement.
