Better than Jackson Hewitt

Because of the higher costs with Turbo Tax I tried to do taxes with Jackson Hewitt and because of having my Minimum IRA distribution being sent directly to my church, I couldn't find how to enter the donation so that it would not increase my income. I would hope next year they correct this problem because the service is so much cheaper than Turbo Tax. Either that or Turbo Tax gets real with there costs. It is almost cheaper to go to an accountant and have your taxes done than to purchase Turbo Tax and then have to pay $20.00 to electronically send in your state tas.

Love the extra prompts that using Turbo Tax provides. I did our taxes for years without an app. First time I used Turbo Tax - I was sold! So easy and convenient.

TurboTax could be better

It was difficult to enter taxes paid to NC on return. Instructions not clear. Program could not file the NC state return but dunned my cc for $20. I stopped payment for your program not working properly. No adequate explanation for income credit from Feds.
