The software is very user-friendly. Almost anyone could prepare their returns with it, assuming they have complete records. My problem is with filing. IF one can file up to 5 Federal Returns with this version, WHY is there a $20. charge for each state return? Makes no sense. Should be same (Free).

turbo tax state

Disappointed that turbo tax only allows one state to be completed. This is an unwanted change from prior years. If nothing elso, why not include an option for extra states. I have been a user of Turbo tax since its inception.

TurboTax has been dependable for me since 1993

I started using Mac-n-tax in 1993 with my first Macintosh computer and have never had a problem or lost any information, and has the information and forms that I need to complete my taxes. It is a quality product, thank you.

Glitch that won't let me file state. Stuck in infinite loop that has no answer about "non MA portion." Won't let me enter any data, won't let me leave it blank.

We've used TurboTax to file our federal and state returns for many years. It's incredibly easy to use. Questions are asked in easy-to-understand wording, and the software double-checks your responses throughout the process.

A few snags this year

I have been using TurboTax for years. This is the first year my return was rejected. The reason was "missing PIN". I had already downloading my form as PDFs and the pin is there. There was also something buggy about an amount that needed entered as a standard - it was rejected until I dug through online help to rectify it. I'm sure these issues will be resolved - it was just frustrating when I've been spoiled by no issues up until this year.
