Turbo Tax is rather difficult to navigate

As a retired tax attorney for the IRS, preparing a hard copy paper Form 1040SR would have been easier using printed instructions and IRS Pub. 17. However, for purposes of e-filing, Turbo Tax Deluxe meets our needs, and does help with getting confirmation of filing. Our refunds are also processed much faster than mailing the hard copies with attachments.

TurboTax is awesome!

Excellent experience with Turbo Tax. But, since I paid my house off, I can't qualify for deductions, so why doesn't Turbo Tax offer skipping the deductions that I can't take anyway? I didn't see a choice.

Turbo tax deluxe

I have been using Turbotax Deluxe for many years. There are always a few glitches but they get fixed and my taxes get filed on time without any issues.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments

State return is flawed.

Was not notified the Oregon return was flawed and the return was rejected twice. It took to long for the updated software to be generated.
