Walk me through...

Great program - I would like you to adjust the "Walk me through" window so when you exit a given area you are not at the top of the menu but back at where you left off in the menu.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and it has always been excellent, easy to use, and does not miss a single opportunity to generate the most favorable refund. This year was no exception and I love the updates provided when available.

CD dependable as ever

Attempted to download and very unsuccessful esp with Turbotax helpline. But went back to using disc with external driver for new laptop and worked fine. i would comment that there were several subtle differences between the two formats including state tax refund info and treatment of my pension income which resulted in slightly different final refund totals.

We got a little frustrated with finding documents and entering because last year's returns were on an old computer. Otherwise, the product guided us through just fine.

Made me fill out data that was not relevent

I had to enter every one of the Deduction categories even ones that did not pertain to me. I tried to put in entries for child credits even though I told it I had no dependents.
