I was charged 77.25 in fees to e-file??!! I was shocked when I saw you charge 40.00 to e-file and 20.00 to e-file MN return. What's the additional 17.25? I actually need my refund!

It's turbotax. It's fine. It mostly does what it's mostly supposed to do. this year has a bug that automatically enters the wrong number when you do the standard deduction for your charitable contributions and you have to manually change it, which took a little doing. But it's fine.
We should have a simplified tax code like other countries where the amounts are calculated and there's little to no year end review, and products like Turbo Tax aren't necessary.

1 Not a good year for TTax

I had to continuously update manually due to error code 1603. No fix from TTax. Could be a W10 problem but I still believe TTax should have addressed it, multiple posts on their forum for this error code. Just a pain this year. I have been using TTax for well over 10 years and never an issue. This year, a mess.

Excellent Program

I file taxes for two or three family members each year. I have used Turbotax for many years and have been very happy with the results. I like the drop downs for more information if I don't completely understand a topic. I have confidence that my returns are correct when Turbotax makes the final check.

Turbo Tax is easy to install, great step by step directions, focused on my taxes and my needs, easy to navigate from step to step to forms mode.
only issue is last year my federal return was adjusted due to adjusted income was found to be incorrect and my refund was much less :(
