Since I knew my itemized deductions would not be above the standard deduction it would have nice to opt for the standard deduction by checking one box

2021 was the worst TT yet

I have filed my taxes through turbo tax since 2015. This year should have actually been the easiest but I have more doubts than ever before. So much so I had to pay the $45 legal fee fund because I am so unsure. The program kept circling in loops up to 3 times. Every other year it took me through each area even those that did not have any relevance.
This year it skipped areas that were in fact relevant and I had to re-direct the program.

Easy to do... I've been using for years. I download the software so my kids can use.
I use it to estimate my tax withdrawals and tax I need to pay from 401K withdrawals.
