I do not like the change to the W-2 format. It is confusing when you look at it. I like it all on one screen like it was last year. Also, when I printed my returns the font was huge and I had to reset the settings so as not to waste paper.

Complications

In the past, it went well. This time When I went to the section about Identity theft, it was very confusing to find out how to correctly fill out forms and it was difficult to finish filing. It kept asking me to go back and correct forms that I was not sure of what to correct.

2021 Experience

I enjoy using turbo tax to file taxes. But I am curious if the program picks up things like dependant's being claimed already to make it easier and avoid those questions when filling out forms for children. Overall I've always had a GREAT experience with TurboTax and have never had any issues filing taxes.

Several issues this year that required me to make changes on the forms. For instance, the $600 charitable deduction for MFJ was input as $300 and needed to be changed. The City tax return had us a "Residents" when we are actually "non-Residents so I had to change this on the info form. The State return had my checking account information correct but identified it as a Savings account even though it was properly identified on both the Federal and City returns.
