needs some work

I love the program, i have used it for years, however, the 1099-MISC part has got to be easier!! I have mineral rights to property i do not own, and do not pay anything out to receive very small monetary amounts. It is a nightmare, I still do not know if I did it righr?

Been using Turbo Tax for years. It never disappoints. Any can do their own taxes at a small cost.

Turbo Tax is still a helpful software and eventually gets the job of completing and filing my taxes done, but i feel like each year it is less intuitive, automatic, and just generally helpful. This year, I had to correct and or look up several pieces of information that it recognized as missing or incorrect on a couple of tax forms. I do appreciate that it finds places where info is missing or incorrect, but it used to just fill it all in and get it all right without me having to do anything. Two pieces of information I had to just go search for on the internet, because I couldn't find the answer within the Turbotax system. Again, I feel like it used to just answer those things automatically without me even being aware of it. Also this year, when I finished and tried to file it said that the returns could not be transmitted and that I may have to file by mail. After I already paid to efile my state. Online users in forums shared that there are some states still missing forms so those states can't file yet, which includes my state of NC. I don't know why the software couldn't be updated to tell me that information itself. I just efiled my federal and will try to wait a while longer on my state. I've used Turbotax for over 20 years, mainly because of the convenience of knowing what to expect and have the software import stuff from previous years so I have less to type in, but each year I feel like it is requiring more from me, not less. I think I'm ready to see what else is out there next year.

I have been using Turbo Tax for probably 25 years or more and I never have a problem.
It truly walks you through every step if you choose that route, which I do so that I don't forget anything.
