Problem with payment.

Would not let deduct payment from my refund. Said my refund of over $3000.00 would not cover $65.00

TURBOTAX is getting worse in quality.

Turbotax is not as intuitive as before. th explanations are not as concise as before. When i bought the Download version with free e-file, I assumed that included the state filing. Was I sooo wrong. I had to pay extra!!!!

Long time user: retired IRS

I retired from the IRS in 2014. I've used TurboTax since it was first introduced many years ago. It continues to serve me well. I've used other software as a volunteer preparer for AARP and TurboTax is far superior to anything else I've seen.

Charging to e file the state is ridiculous

Doing the reurn is easy enough. However, to pay $20 for the state efile is a little much. When I tried with 3 valid credit cards intuit still couldn't get authorization. Try help and sign up to get a number to call, I get a case number but the contact number is blank. Had the same issues last year trying to download and PAY ADDITIONAL $49 for additional state programs. My patience is wearing thin!

Taxes Made Easy

I do my Federal and State Taxes using Turbotax yearly and the process is very simple. My information is downloaded from the previous year and it's easy to add additional information. It generally takes me three hours to complete my taxes in full. I will continue using Turbotax.

TuboTax Bug

In the past I have always used TurboTax with ease and confidence; however, the 2021 Tax Return software has a bug. It calculates the Charitable Deduction incorrectly when not Itemizing Deductions.

Very easy to follow with the step by step guide me through sections. Cannot go wrong most of the time. When I had questions I would look it up on the web which was easy.
