Another Filing with TurboTax

I've used TurboTax for many years. However, this is the first year I downloaded the software from the website. Previously, purchased on CD. The download was very easy. Only comment is that I had to search the website to find where the products were to download. Need to make that option more visible/accessible on the home page. Too much emphasis on home page for having someone at TurboTax do the filing.

Unable to e-file State Tax Return

I have been using TurboTax Deluxe for my family for over 20 years. Always accurate, always provides prompts to max deductions. I have taught my sons and now they use TurboTax Deluxe for their families. I highly recommend this product.

Never any Issues with Turbo Tax

Automatically imports needed data from previous years. Walks you through each subject field in detail if needed. Great access to explanations to get more detail. Fills out state return with little input from user.

Turbo Tax has some issues but is user friendly

The software was not updated for QCD and I spent two days with an agent to find a way to record the QCD. I assume the software will be updated. Fortunately, I caught the error and we found a workaround.

Turbo Tax is Good BUT...

I had trouble with turbo this year. I had a 1099-PATR to enter. It must be uncommon because it's not on the walk thru. I pressed the questions button and ask where to enter the income of the 1099-PART. I received the answer then tried to follow the instructions that were listed but following the instructions was not any help at all (Just went in circles). Fumbling around I finally figured out how to get the form. I filled in the information for the first question pressed enter and the program took asked me about the 3rd stimulus check (which I had already entered). I tried a couple of times but never got to enter the income.
I have used TURBO TAX for many years and still I get irritated with the fee for the filing of the state return. Put the price for the filing of the states in with the cost of the package.
