This year's TurboTax seemed less smooth than in past years. Two issues: (1) TurboTax refused to reflect the correct amount for Charitable Donations. Despite a filing status of MFJ and a donation total greater than $600, TurboTax insisted on using a deduction of $300. Each time the draft return was reviewed, the deduction of $600 I entered manually was reset to $300 and I had to go back and manually enter $600. (2) TurboTax initially identified an error related to Form 8812. Each time TurboTax reviewed the draft return, the error kept appearing. I finally had to go online and find out the purpose of Form 8812 - dependents and credits. I used a zero to correct the error.

turbo tax continues to be a great tool

I have been using for a number of year and greatly appreciate the ease to do my annual taxes --- made a huge difference in my tax filing process since getting turbo tax

The tool is very easy to use and allows you to move freely between various fields. It also, gives the option to download or enter information on your own. I prefer entering information on my own but do like the available options. I have used this tool for 10 years and always come back to this product.
