Not as happy with TurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for several years and I have had surprising problems with it for the last 2 years. My return is a simple one using the standard deduction but there have been glitches, probably due to the Covid payments, that you should have accounted for. Last year there was a holdup on our Federal return because I was unknowingly asking for Covid payments that I had received. OK, I must have made a wrong entry I guess. This year the program told me my best choice was the standard deduction so I selected it again. Then when I got to the final check it said I made a wrong entry for charitable contributions. I had no idea what to do and it took me quite a while to figure it out. That box should have been automatically filled in for me. Worse than that is that I don't know how to get hold of a person to help talk me through what to do. I'm older and tech challenged so if you want to retain me as a customer then you're going to have to make it friendlier to me.

I am completely satisfied with TurboTax. Turbo Tax perfectly and clearly walked me through all the steps to fill out and file my return. I have used TT for many years and will continue in the future.

State returns no longer print appropriately

I have used Turbo Tax for decades. I have always had a great experience and have been able to complete my taxes easily. This year it is recommended to use adobe reader to print the state return. Even with adobe on my computer it was not easy to figure out how to print. They did not print appropriately so I was forced to pay the $20 to e-file my state return. If this is not fixed next year I will use a different software.
