Does not ask for all required info

This is the second year in a row that the software did not ask me for my Identity Protection Personal Identification Number before pressing "Submit," causing rejection by the IRS. The first year, I could understand. But because the software pulls-in last year's return as the basis for this year, I would have expected to software to know that I use a PIN due to prior identity theft. There was also a glitch in the software regarding the deduction plus-up for charitable contributions. I kept defaulting to $300 vice $600 for MFJ with a total entered greater than $600.

turbo tax is good

Turbo tax led me thru the basics of my taxes done.I only had aproblem with the charitable contribution line. It kept putting in the wrong amount when I went to the state portion. I did call turbo taa for help and she helped me thru it. I have used turbo tax for the last 4 years and it is usually easy to use.

Opt-In for the deluxe edition

Got almost $400 more back, when I used TT Deluxe Edition this year, as opposed to using the Free Edition last year!

Turbo Tax makes doing taxes less painful

Last year & this year I've bought Turbo tax capable of doing five (5) federal returns & one (1) free state return. Both years, turbo tax has charged me for every state return. I have yet to get my ONE FREE STATE RETURN!?! It would be nice to get a $40 refurnd for the last two years ive have to pay $20/ea as per the published marketing "ploy" as promised!! :o(
