Disappointed in 2021 Turbotax

There is an error in the 2021 version of turbo Tax that absolutely should not exist. After completely entering all my data, TurboTax said its was complete and error free. But when I proceeded to the review function, I kept getting an error on the deduction charitable contributions when you take the standard deduction. After spending a lot of time verifying my data, I found that Turbotax is aware of the problem and basically said ignore the error message and proceed. This is not a difficult issue, no tax worksheets, nothing more than did you take the standard deduction and your filing stays. No where was I asked about this deduction. If something this simple is still in the up-to-date version of Turbo Tax, what else is missing or incorrect. I will definitely be looking at other options for doing my taxes next year.

I like that they check for errors after you are done. Turbo Tax is always right. I gone with other tax methods and had problems. They will get you your refund quickly.

Used turbo tax for about six years now and am very confident that it has increased my refunds. I like how you can 'walk' through all the questions. One thing, is there or could there be a section where you can give simplified info and determine if the standard deduction is best for you ? Don't like to enter all the Charitable donations and Medical bill info to be advised

It would have been more helpful if you described the 3 stimulus payments. First one (1,200) around April of 2020, second one (600) in January 2021 and third one (!,400 in March 2021.

Easy Filing, but program frustrations...

I have used both application and web versions of TurboTax in the past, and have returned due to general ease of use. However, the application version for 2021 gave me multiple errors after installation that did not actually provide information on what the actual issues were. It had to be reinstalled twice before it would start up correctly for the first time, then once again when the State return was stuck in a loop where it wanted to update and would note that it had downloaded and installed, but would want to update again instead of opening the forms. The TTStateCleanup tool did not help with this either. I've had better years with the program, hope next year is better!
