A continued source of comfort knowing our taxes

I love the TT system and FAQ plus having the online community as resources to help file our taxes. I trust that the latest rules and regulations are incorporated into the software.

Have been using Turbo Tax for years. Process has actually become easier. It's a fast, accurate way to file taxes if the filing is pretty standard

Hawaii Mortgage Interest Deduction was Faulty

Mortgage interest info on 1098 did not carryover properly into the Hawaii State form. Kept saying there was an error and refused to eFile. There was supposed to be an update after 1/22/22 but when I checked it said I was up to date. I deleted interest info via State Forms as it reduced my refund by only $8. Only then was I able to eFile my State return.
Was a mistake to eFile as my refund was less than $200 but I did it without thinking. Wish I could redo it and get my money back.
