TurboTax is messed up

Been using TurboTax for years. Never a problem. Last couple of years we have only been for the standard deduction. This year after I used the guided tour to enter all my info as per normal. Again it said that I was to receive the standard deduction. Then as I proceeded through the giuded tour it told me that there were 3 errors that needed to be corrected. It took me to a worksheet which said that charitable deductions could not be 0. Then I was told to enter 600 if married filing jointly. I did so. The I was taken to worksheet that had to do with our principal abode. It asked a couple of questions one about living in Puerto Rica and then asked us to enter the amount of advanced child payments we recieved. We are old and retired and and so we entered 0 for me and for spouse. The bottom line is this is so confusing and if we are going to have to fill in individual worksheets that we don't understand then TurboTax is no longer worth the money. All I want is to file my taxes as required honestly and with the least hassle. After many many years of using TurboTax, I may never buy it ever again. Especially if my taxes are screwed up because of this.
