Not as GOOD as last year....

Took a while to complete my taxes. Alot of times it would save a file and NOT return. Not as fast and efficient as last year.

Turbo Tax Makes Filing Easy

I used Turbo Tax Deluxe to file my Federal Tax Return. The program walks me through each category step by step and provides easy to understand explanations. Turbo Tax gives me the peace of mind that my return is not only complete and accurate but ensures I'm getting the largest return possible.

TurboTax Deluxe - Good Experience

Encountered a couple of glitches.
1. Unable to connect and upload TurboTax federal tax update(s). Reached out to TurboTax team on phone and they walked me through the corrective actions (i.e. deactivate firewall, operating systems updates, etc.) to get me going again.
2. I input all of my itemized deductions including my Charitable Contributions into TurboTax and chose to use the standard deduction value for Married Filing Jointly based on my income and TurboTax recommendation. The TurboTax program populated line 12b (Charitable contributions if you take the standard deduction) with only the value for Individual Filing charitable contribution of $300.00 instead of the Married Filing Jointly value of $600.00. I got an error message during the check/review/analyze phase informing me I had an incorrect value in 12b. I went back through the deduction phase again to see if the program would correct itself, but no such luck. I manually input the correct $600.00 value during the check/review/analyze phase and that corrected the error message during the check/review/analyze phase allowing me to complete my return.
SOMEONE IN TURBOTAX'S PROGRAMMING TEAM MAY WANT TO REVIEW NUMBER 2 ABOVE!!!
