Good but quirky

Been a TurboTax fan since the 1990's, however, when I was delayed filing my 2020 taxes and could not file them electronically, it caused issues while filing my 2021 taxes electronically. Very frustrating!

First time electronic filing

Would have been helpful to know that when filing electronically for the first time, that I did not need to create a PIN number for my wife and I. Prior to our 2021 tax return, we have always used TurboTax and filed with paper.
Accordingly, our 2021 return was the first time ever to file electronically. I did not know that our 2021 return had been rejected by the IRS until several days after checking the details of an e-mail from Turbo Tax.
In the future, you should consider offering a question prior to the PIN number section that determines if this is the first time ever to file electronically and that a "created by the taxpayer" pin number is not needed.

5498 Form handling is very poor.

IRS Form 5498 use and what to do with it seems to be totally missing from the interview process.
I have state forms as well. Filled out and mailed state forms in April. Trying to review IRS for extension is blocked by popping up already filed state taxes. When selecting "states done", and selecting review again, same thing happens. Can no longer review federal.

OK. I am a long-time user of another tax software but decided to give Turbo Tax a try when my other provider seemed unable to get the program right. I found TT to be as easy and accurate as the other program. May give it another try this coming tax year.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
