I have always used Turbo Tax for it's ease. This year was no different. Everything is laid out for you. Even if it's your first time doing your own taxes, Turbo Tax makes it super easy.

I love the program, easy to use once you get to it! Last year's User and Password didn't work and the verification codes coming fast and furious only to be locked out for 15-minute intervals; it was quite frustrating. I've used Turbo for several years and every year same drill, tough to get to, but worth it when you do!

Tax Forms Glitch

The process was smooth, except the program FORCED Form 8812 into my standard 1040 return, even after I deleted it in forms view. After I saved a PDF, 8812 was gone. But as I was e-filing, a redundancy required that I enter 2 fields (I zeroed out.) As 65yo, I don't need to file any Child Tax Credit amounts!
