Totally an abomination!

Turbotax 2020 & 2021 would not support simple calculations/deductions critical to my return (disability & LTD w-2s). After spending 3 entire days on the phone, I had to use desktop versions & "Override" data to CORRECTLY input data (& delete). I still have 2020 to complete and do not even know if I can do it! In 2020, I have a valid federal deduction listed on SSA-1099, listed and explained within Turbotax "Learn More" but the software WOUDL NOT acknowledge this and actually include this deduction on my federal return!

Doesn't work with Apple Keychain password app

This mostly worked fine, and easy. But it drove me nuts that to file the return and pay for the State, and to download files from banks, I had to "log in" to the Intuit tax site, and my stored passwords didn't auto fill. Same for credit card info. Every try to copy by hand a complex password? Also, I was anxious to watch a game that already started, but needed to file right away. They need stop weird stuff like that. I also reduced my rating one star because it would not accept if because ad blockers were set on my browser. C'mon man!

Even thought it has an option to take you through all the steps for filling out a return, I had to be very careful not to miss somehting.

This year [2021] this version kept taking me back to something that did NOT have anything to do with me, and INSISTED I input some info I did not have, and it did thie SEVERAL TIMES, I filed 'Single', NO Dependants', and it kept taking me to the Child and Dependant settings, SEVERAL TMES!.
Another problem it would NOT ALLOW ME TO ENTER ONE TAX FORM I RECEIVED, NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED TO ENTER IT- 1099K!!!

After all these years, still glitches

I've been using turbotax for many years, There are always some problems, this time with the California State section. When I finish the federal tax and go to California tax, I enter a loop. It asks if there are any other states, no. Tells me we are starting CA, then says all is done (without asking questions), tells me to see results, I click - and I'm back at the start, asking any other states. I have to skip ahead to move on. But then, just as I'm ready to file, I'm asked for more information, CA form 5805. I have no idea how to fill out the requested information. And Turbotax will not continue and file unless I fill in these boxes, of quarterly income and deductions. I was able to divide my income in 4 and put it in each box, but not the deductions. This is because I didn't pay quarterly tax payments. And above, TT calculated that I owed no penalty - because the amount is small (in the hundreds) and it's same as last year, or something. Still, you would not allow me to file if I skipped these boxes, which I had no way of knowing how to do. If there is a penalty, fine. I'll pay it. But TT does not give me that option, to go ahead and file as is. I'm retired, on social security and dividend (stocks) payments for income, so it is fairly regular. Perhaps with a few words of instructions, I could have done this correctly. And then, same for the deductions, only it wouldn't allow me to change the 1st quarter, where you had entered the entire amount of deductions, so I couldn't attempt to break it down into quarters. What are you thinking? Asking the impossible. Today is the last day so I had to send it in by entering "0"s in the other quarters. TT would not allow me to distribute it into quarters, and it wouldn't submit my tax forms without my filling in those spaces. No way to contact you. I'm very displeased.

However, there is a flaw in your coding. It did not place the cost basis for the Long Term Stock transactions
