1) The text on many of the screens is too small.
2) T-Tax should tell me which states allow a deducrion for misc. investment expenses instead of just saying these may not be deductible in your stste.

Awesome for standard only Good for new things

I have used turbo tax for a very long time, typically I am completely happy with it. This year, there were some new forms. I had to google my questions to get better answers than what the TurboTax guides and 'help' were providing. In all fairness, the help that I found on google was provided by a question asked of TurboTax and answered by TurboTax, but getting to it from inside the program, was impossible.

Very hard to figure SE Health Insurance Deduction

It gets harder every year to figure out how to enter the SE Health Insurance deduction for a >2% owner/officer of an S-Corp. It would really be great if you would fix this

A suggestion to improve...

For the many 'fortunate' gamblers who win $1,200+ races and/or jackpots who must complete the same form 'ad nauseum': code the ability to create a template of the paying institution which contains approx. 90% of 'boilerplate' data. Then, only the few unique winning entries need to be completed.

TurboTax, Get better warning about state efile

Finally got federal to be accepted. Got email after several attempts due to errors, but no problem. No big warnings about not being able to send state even after federal was accepted. And the software doesn't show federal was accepted so i cant send state even after i already paid for it before some of the earlier attempts during all the error fixes. Waist of time and now money plus more time and money to take half day for post office. Your WARNINGS need updated next year. Didnt find out about this till i started searching the web.

I love how the software self-checks and applies updates whenever I open TurboTax, provides piece of mind that I'm using the latest-greatest.
Easy to navigate and find where I want to go.
