A struggle this year

I'm a little frustrated, your programmers made it impossible to run on my legacy Mac computer. Yes there's the online version, but that doesn't feel comfortable to me, difficult to control and things like signal loss, power surge, grand daughter interference make that modality insecure. As it happened My wife bought a used MacBook this year and with some juggling was able to load and run the software. Not convenient.

2021 TT Deluxe version has stumbled a bit

First the good news. TurboTax has great On Demand Tax Guidance. Every year it becomes more succinct, clear, easy to understand. I wish the online IRS guidance was as clear. I really like how TT's guidance boxes pop up and explain the issues, and then when you are done reading and close the box, you are still on the TT page you left.
I also like entering data once and having it appear in all places and forms where needed, a time and accuracy attribute I appreciate.
Which brings me to a failing (I think) in the 2021 TT version. A new IRS requirement (Form 7203) is not propagated automatically with the amounts from Schedule K-1 1120S. TT said I needed to enter amounts into Box 17 for codes V and K but would not let me enter the amounts manually. It took me a while looking for the solution to this problem until I came across an online post that detailed how to remedy it. I had to go through TT's steps to reenter the amounts from Schedule K-1 into Form 7203. After I did this, TT let me proceed to complete my tax return. Admittedly, this was a simple fix but should have been clear in TT's instructions after TT ground to a halt.
Overall, my faith in TT has not diminished and I will buy it again next year. I recommend you do so also.

Using it First Time!

It was a breeze using Turbo Tax for the first time. it gives allthe hinta and help topics as we go along using the product. also, the return got rejected first time for entering the wrong last year's AGI...was able to correct and re-file it with no issues...Thanks Turbo Tax!
