You have a good system dealing with a required miserable experience. Turbo Tax can't eliminate all the stress. How can it? But its a nice try. I wouldn't want to do taxes without it. Schedule D -- a nightmare in waiting

2021 Texas Freeze Disaster Withdrawal

Turbo Tax doesn't allow us to include the 2021 Texas Freeze Disaster Withdrawal. Turbo Tax only considers 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2017. Having to print my taxes and alter them to include no penalty 2021 Texas Freeze Disaster Withdrawal. Do not know why the program doesn't include other disaster withdrawals especially one as publicized as the Texas freeze.

My Go-To Tax Software

I've used TurboTax for both my business and personal tax returns for over twenty years and never encountered an issue. I know I can file my taxes with "peace of mind", who could ask for more?

Putting in information was easy enough but trying to delete a form from my State taxes was a headache and i didn't have any one to call. Very Frustrating!!! i paid $25 for automation sending and then it was unable to send. That was $25 spent that i didn't have.

Do you even use your own software?

Why are there so many questions that are not remembered? For example: I just went through my Idaho state return a second time after making a change to my fed ... just to make sure ... and none of the fields had answers. "Did you save for college?" No "Did you withdraw from a college savings fund?" No.
And when I went to pay, it asked me for my name and address!?!?!? It could have guessed and defaulted my name and address from the tax return.

Intuit's a BS company that lobbies 4 bad tax code

Taxes should be more equitable and easier to file. The time wasted with this software and the masses of pencil pushers meant to keep the wealthy's tax burden as low as possible is ridiculous.
