TurboTax has been my go to and saviour for the last 30+ years I have been doing taxes myself! including a sole proprietership. Have been wanting to use TT for business 1120 but have not had the courage yet, pay my accountant to file corporate returns!

Best way to do taxes

Really helps that the program asks to confirm any info that could be questioned. Saving returns with turbo tax makes the next year easier, automatically imports info from previous returns.

Math Errors on Form 7203

Columns did not total correctly on Form 7203 Part II. Items in the Debt Column did not sum over to the Total column. The form was locked and would not let me enter the information directly because it was a calculated field. However, the error checker would spot the error and would not let me continue until I deleted important information that should have been submitted to IRS. Very sloppy! I wasted about 8 hours trying to get the total entered including deleting my K-1 and re-entering everything a second time. Each year I find more mistakes, or the program asks for information it should have from the prior year. There is no advantage to keep using the program.

Turbo Tax and their support team - nothing better!

Been using TurboTax for years (over 10). This year with land sales, property sales, crashed computer, multiple states (3) and changed AGI for verification - for first time contacted one-on-one support and they were without exception superb. They understood the issues, we discussed, we solved.. Awesome. Thank you and yes I'll continue to use, and appreciate the continuing effort you make to work out bugs. Sincerely, Lane

TruboTax 2021 1040 - annoying bug

TT knew about this bug in 2020 and I still ran into it on my 2021 return. No matter what I did in data entry, Sche E still recorded my K-1 income as "PASSIVE" when it is not passive. Wasted hours. finally just gave up and overwrote the data on my Sche E. I used TT for years, then switched (because of bugginess" to H & R Block for 10 years. Prefer TT interface, so came back to give it a try. Not very happy.
