I rely on Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax has done my taxes for years. When I realized that the accountant at a big name tax company used a similar computer program to prepare my taxes, I made the switch. Was watching him enter my information and realized that I could just do that myself. Turbo Tax took it from there.

Easy to use

I have been using Turbo Tax for 5 years. It is so easy to understand and to use. Best of all, now that three of my four children are working and need to file taxes I can do all of them with the same Turbo Tax CD I purchased.

nEVER aGAIN

2nd year in a row that my efile was rejected. Rejected saying im using an incorrect agi that I got from last years turbo tax return. And Im late filing this year now because of this and becasue didnt see the 2nd follow up rejection email.. I have used turbo tax for past 8 years and promise you that I will never use turbo tax again

TT 2021 handling of foreign tax credit not great

Answered all questions for foreign tax credit section without getting errors but check at end said a value that was blank needed to be greater than zero. TT left it blank not me!
Why didn't it deal with this while I was in the section? I had to go to the IRS instructions and try several different changes before it seemed correct to me and passed their tests. TT also did this to a friend for some other section; I don't know how they worked around it.
Also TT is very bad for trying different scenarios, does not clear out some values from the previous try which messes up branches it should take and if you delete a form you also lose the automatic carryover information.
