Still a lot of work

It still takes a lot of hours to complete. I had no idea that we are entitled to CPA support when we purchase the Deluxe package. It was so frustrating not being able to speak with someone along the way. I want to know up front if I should try to itemize or not. A lot of wasted time to find out I am better off using the Standard Deduction.

I can't believe all this time I have been paying so much money to get my taxes done to only get charged hundreds of dollars. More money to my pockets.

Some minor things could be improved, such as the size of pages. I found that in one of the popup windows where I had to submit my credit card details, I just could not get to the bottom of page to hit the Continue tab. It was out of view, and I just could not get at it with my mouse. Finally I just hit tab, and when I thought i had reached the Continue button, I hit Enter. That is utterly crazy!

I have been using TurboTax for many years and think it is thorough. I noticed that for 2021, when I went to E-file my Federal tax return, it did not give me the option to mail-in my State tax return, just "not E-file it now" was presented to me. When I saved my State tax return and printed it, the instruction page did not have any info to mail in my return. That was disappointing!
